Coalescers
The KingTool Automatic Self-Cleaning Reverse Flow Mist Coalescer with Integral Slug Interceptor removes entrained solids and liquids from gas by means of dry-type molded fiberglass filter elements. The filter elements in this single-stage type unit can be cleaned by back-flowing while the vessel is in full service. This is an excellent piece of equipment that nearly perfects the efficiency of gas cleaning, even separating iron sufides, parrafins, and glycols from the gas stream.
Filter Separators
The KingTool Filter Separators utilize dry-type molded fiberglass filter elements to remove solid particulates and liquid mist. A Filter Separator is a two-compartment vessel, consisting of filter elements in the first compartment and a KingTool Vane Mist Extractor for liquid removal in the second compartment. The KingTool Utility Gas Filter Separator can be used to clean gas in a variety of applications that include gas-fired engines, fired heaters, catalytic heaters, instrument gas systems, and pilots for flares.
Vane Separators
The KingTool Line Separators offer extremely efficient separation of entrained liquids from the gas stream. The heart of the unit is the unique, high efficiency KingTool Vane Mist Eliminator, used to separate liquids from gases. The vessels are normally supplied for high gas flow applications in large sizes and through a wide variety of pressure ranges. Inline units are available for smaller flow rate systems, such as compressor interstages. The Line Separators can also be designed to handle slugs of liquid.
Dry Filters
The KingTool Dry Filters offer efficient separation of solid particulates from gas streams. These units are not suitable for wet systems, but instead clean dry gas streams by way of fiberglass filter elements. These vessels are normally supplied for high gas flow applications, but smaller Inline Filters are available for systems with smaller flow rates.
Utility Gas Units
The KingTool Utility Gas Units can be used to clean gas in a variety of applications that include gas-fired engines, fired heaters, catalytic heaters, instrument gas systems, and pilots for flares. These smaller units may be designed for wet or dry systems and can be configured vertically or horizontally.
Separator Scrubbers

Gas Odorizers
KingTool Company manufactures and stocks two lines of Natural Gas Odorizers. The “B” SERIES odorizers are appropriate for flow rates up to 8 MMSCF per hour, while the “W” SERIES are recommended for flow rates less than 500 SCF per hour. Both types are easily operated and maintained, making them excellent choices for most natural gas odorizing needs.
